International Students Enjoy the 100 Million Public Transport Trips Celebration by Auckland Transport

On 23 June 2019, Auckland Transport celebrated the fact that there were more than 100 million public transport trips in Auckland for the past year. In return to the public, they offered free rides on public transport including ferry services. It was perceived as a great achievement because there has not been that much public travel since 1951, and having more people use public transport instead of private ones is beneficial to the environment.

The students of USIF-NZ did not miss this chance. After their worship service, the students took the ferry ride from the coasts in Auckland to Mount Victoria. They enjoyed the stunning night views of Auckland and returned home safely.
